ATTENTION ALL PATIENTS
Please refer to the message below regarding the reopening of our office amid the Coronavirus pandemic and our new office policies and procedures.
After carefully considering a collection of recommendations provided by the CDC, ADA, N.C. Dental Board Examiners, and our state governor, we have made the decision to reopen our office effective May 18, 2020. Many factors went into making this decision such as the number of new cases in our county, the amount of personal protection equipment (PPE) available in our area, and the demand for dental services. Moving forward, we have put protocols in place that will minimize exposure to our staff and patients. Please be advised:
- Patients must arrive wearing facial coverings of some sort until further notice. We cannot provide this to you at this time due to limited resources. If you arrive without a facial covering you will be asked to cancel your appointment. There will be no exceptions to this policy
- We will be limiting access to our building. We ask that only the patient enters the building at the appointment time. Upon entry, your temperature will be taken. If you arrive early, we ask that you wait in your vehicle. Certain exceptions can be made such as if the patient uses public transportation
- To promote social distancing we will limit the number of patients in the building and lobby at a single time. The order in which we seat patients will be specialized to make your visit as contactless as possible. When in the presence of another patient we ask that you stand six feet apart from the other person
- We must also limit the number of patients on our schedule as well. This will allow additional time for proper cleaning and sanitization of operators in between patients
- If you exhibit any symptoms of illness, you will be asked to cancel your appointment until those symptoms clear. If you have any symptoms such as a fever or signs of respiratory illness please mention this over the phone when scheduling your appointment. We will advise you from there.
Please understand, the coronavirus pandemic is not over. There will be certain procedures that are currently deemed unsafe to perform. At your next appointment, we are prepared to answer any questions you may have about executing your treatment moving forward. If there is a procedure you need that we cannot accommodate at this time we will let you know. We would greatly appreciate your patience and understanding of this situation. Our office has made several other small changes to keep you safe. You will notice these changes and if you have any questions or concerns about our new office procedures please also let us now we are happy to answer any questions you may have.
If your appointment was canceled during the closure, please allow us time to contact you to reschedule this appointment. When we reopen we will operate according to a "light" schedule, therefore, we will not be able to accommodate each request for an appointment. Please continue to be patient as we are all trying to adjust to this unprecedented situation. Again, we greatly appreciate your cooperation.
